The City of Bellevue's Facilities Planning and Development Division needed to revise partitions, cubicle layouts, and conference rooms in a city office building to accommodate changes in the departments housed therein. They undertook a 20,000 ft2 interior remodel of occupied office space on three floors of the Leavitt Building, originally built in 1978.
VELOCIPEDE was the architect of record and prepared the contract documents for this publicly bid project. Our work included coordinating our mechanical and electrical engineers and the specifications with the unique language of the city's General Conditions and Special Provisions to the contract for construction. All finishes and materials were predetermined by the tenant's existing standards.
