JOHN NOVAK associate (206) 596-2996

Certified Sustainable Building Advisor (sbaprogram.com)
LEED Accredited Professional
Bachelors of Architecture, Washington State University

John is a longtime resident of Washington state, growing up in Edmonds. He has over 10 years of experience designing a variety of building types, including restaurants, zoos, and custom homes - big and small. Like George, John really digs his daily bicycle commute from his small home in Ballard, rain or shine.

When not enjoying life in the office or meeting with enthusiastic homeowners, he spends his free time with his wife and young daughter hiking in the North Cascades and the Olympics. He also enjoys reading, weightlifting, and tackling home improvement and landscaping projects (even if they involve several trips to Home Depot). John regularly participates in Northwest EcoBuilding Guild activities (ecobuilding.org).

Everything went well, better than anticipated. George met all the commitments, was prepared at every meeting. Great communication throughout the project. Followed up with contractors appropriately. Kept to the initial budget. Very knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. I am very pleased with the project and working with George.
